FAQs for Nonprofits
THERE'S NO CATCH. And, there aren't any costs charged to your nonprofit.
We created the GIVE-BACK Charitable Donation Program to assist nonprofits fund their missions. We realized that we could create an economic bridge between for-profit companies and nonprofit organizations by simply creating an opportunity (and web site) for a consumer to find, interview and hire a local for-profit company willing to donate to a local nonprofit. If a consumer decides to hire one or more of the Companies GIVING-BACK for a product or service they want, need and otherwise would have purchased, then a GIVE-BACK donation opportunity is created. The GIVE-BACK donation is only created when a consumer hires one or more of the Companies GIVING-BACK. During the hiring process, the consumer can choose to designate that company's GIVE-BACK donation to any Participating Nonprofit on this site. The amount and type of the GIVE-BACK donation is disclosed on the company's profile page on this site. There's no obligations for a consumer to hire any company on this web site, but unless they do hire one or more, then there is no designated donation to a nonprofit.
A for-profit company donates a portion of their income from the fee charged the consumer for the product or service. Because we encourage all consumers interview companies on this web site just as they would any others not participating in this program, it is up to the consumer to decide if they want to participate in the program. There's no arm-turning, pressure or requirement for a consumer to participate.
The only web site that will feature your organization, brand, images and links to your web site is myGIVEBACKprogram.org. Companies and organizations advertised on myGIVEBACKprogram.org are not authorized to advertise any brand, logo or association with any other company advertised on the myGIVEBACKprogram.org's web site. They are only authorized to link from their company web site to the URL: myGIVEBACKprogram.org and to their individual profile page on this web site.
When visiting a profile page for any of the Companies GIVING-BACK, you'll notice that they describe their own GIVE-BACK donation offer. Each of the Companies GIVING-BACK determines their own donation type and amount. We do not govern or require a specific amount or donation program. We find that depending on the type of service or product, each company determines the amount they can afford to participate and that makes sense for them.
GIVE-BACK donations are paid directly to your nonprofit by the Companies GIVING-BACK. There is no middleman and your nonprofit receives 100% of the donation.
We help support your missions and increase your revenue and fundraising efforts by creating an opportunity to receive donations from all of the Companies GIVING-BACK that are listed on this web site. When a consumer, patron, client or supporter of your nonprofit mission hires a participating Company GIVING-BACK, they can choose to have the donation from that company given to your nonprofit upon completion of the service or contract. The Company GIVING-BACK will make a donation to your nonprofit as part of their obligation as a participant in this program. The more consumers that choose your nonprofit as the recipient of the GIVE-BACK donation, the more revenue your nonprofit receives. There are no caps and no limits on the donations you receive from our GIVE-BACK Charitable Donation Program.
If you are a decision maker, executive or Director of a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Massachusetts or Rhode Island interested in participating in the GIVE-BACK Charitable Donation Program, contact Bob Simone at 888-877-8300 to get more details about the program. There's NO COST for your nonprofit to participate. If you qualify, we will create a profile page for your organization based on information that you provide us by email or from your existing web site. Once your profile page is completed and approved by your nonprofit, it will go live on our site and you will then be eligible to start receiving donations.
